For a second year, I’ve been asked to part of the team that takes care of the Osheaga Art events. In March, En Masse went to NYC to take part of the Fountain Art Fair at the 69th Regiment Armory. It was a pretty impressive week spent with some of our good friends. Between the 9th and the 11th of March 2012, it’s Armory Week in NYC. Fountain Art Fair have invited the En Masse Art Initiative to take part of their celebration at the 69th Regiment NYC Armory. To mark my first participation at Armory, I’m releasing a limited edition of 16 silkscreen prints in association with Station16. Called “The Velt”, it’s a tribute to Theodore Roosevelt infamous line: “This Is Not Art”. Those print will only be available during the Armory Week. Come by, get your print, say hi and by the same occasion, witness one of the greatest art fair of the new modern art. I forgot to mention that it glows in the dark./ Entre le 9 et le 11 Mars 2012, Fountain Art Fair a invité l’initiative artistique En Masse à participer à leurs célébration au 69ième Régiment de l’Armoirie de NYC. Pour marquer cette première participation à “Armory Week”, je mettrais en vente une série limité d’affiches sérigraphiés en collaboration avec Station16. Intitulé “The Velt”, c’est un hommage à la fameuse phrase de Théodore Roosevelt : “This Is Not Art”. Venez faire un tour, acheter votre copie de l’affiche, dites bonjour et profitez-en pour être témoin d’une des plus impressionnante foire de nouvel Art Contemporain. J’ai oublié de mentionné que l’affiche élumine la nuit.

Once the Basel officially started, we jumped on the creation of a wall in collaboration with the great Primary Flight. It took us about 2 days and a half to complete this beast. Thankfully, the team manage to grow exponentially during those 2 days and we ended up with an International all-star cast, we miss you all and we’ll see you soon / Une fois le Basel débuté, nous nous sommes mis à la création d’un immense surface exérieur en collaboration avec Primary Flight. Ça nous aura pris 2 jours et demi pour venir à bout de cette bête. Heureusement, l’équipe à pris du gallons durant ces 2 jours et nous avons terminé en force avec une équipe des étoiles International.
At the end of November, with the help of Sodec Quebec and Galerie Pangée, the En Masse Art Initiative flew down to Miami to take part of the Miami Art Basel events. Before the festivities even started, we painted two 8’x8’, two 2’x8’ and one 12’x8’, all at the magnificent Fountain Art Fair HQ / En Novembre dernier, avec l’aide de la Sodec et de la Galerie Pangée, l’initiative En Masse est descendue à Miami pour participer aux événements du « Miami Art Basel ». Avant même que les festivités débutent, nous avions peint plusieurs panneaux dans la cours du Foutain Art Fair.

From November 27th to December 6th, I will be in Miami with the En Masse Art Initiative. We will hold 3 different events during the Art Basel, one wall and one booth in collaboration with Scope Art Show, Rums of Puerto Rico and Gallerie Pangée, and one giant wall (50’ long x 20’ high) in collaboration with Primary Flight and Safewalls. / Du 27 Novembre au 6 Décembre, je serais à Miami avec l’initiative artistique En Masse. Nous participerons à trois évènements durant le Art Basel. En collaboration avec Scope Art Show, Rums of Puerto Rico et la Gallerie Pangée nous occuperons un mur et un kiosque à l’intérieur du Art Show, et Primary Flight en collaboration avec Safewalls, nous laisse un gigantesque Mur d’environ 50’ par 20’.
From November to January, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts is holding their latest exhibition called Big Bang. En Masse is one of the group of artist that has been invited to create an amazing installation and asked us to create an original piece for their posters and banners. It’s free so run to go see it while our drawings last on the wall of the Museum / De Novembre à Janvier, le Musée des Beaux-Arts de Montréal présente ça plus récente exposition intitulé Big Bang. En Masse est un des groupes d’artistes à avoir été invité à créer une installation pour l’occasion. Nous avons aussi créer une oeuvre originale qui a servi à la création d’affiches et de bannières pour la promotion de l’exposition. En plus c’est gratuit, alors courez vite voir nos dessins sur les murs du Musée.
