In January of 2013, I was invited in Los Angeles to painted a 20 ft long piece for the L.A Street Art Gallery x Do Arts show called Back Alley. I ended up scavenging wood from dumpsters and created a wall out of those pieces of wood. And then proceed to paint that wall once I’ve installed it in the gallery. The show featured work by Troy Lovegates, Cyrcle, Risk, SandOne, La Pandillia, Evoka One, The FL and many other great artists. / En janvier 2013, j’ai été invité à Los Angeles pour peindre une murale de 20 pieds de long pour une exposition organisée par le L.A Street Art Gallery et l’organisme Do Arts. Pour créer ce mur, j’ai du parcours les poubelles hollywoodiennes pour récupérer du bois et bâtir un mur dans la gallerie. Une fois le mur bâtis, j’ai paint un hommage à la scène skateboard du débuts des années 1990. L’exposition a présenté le travail de plusieurs grands artistes dont Troy Lovegates, Cyrcle, Risk, SandOne, La Pandillia, Evoka One et TheFL.
In the summer of 2012, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts brought the En Masse Project on board for the creation of their new educational area. On the course of 2 of the hottest weeks of July, 28 artists gathered together in the new sections of the museum to create one of our most impressive piece to date, covering walls and part of the ceiling on 2 levels, a staircase and one of the main access hallway. The new educational zones launched in September 2012, offering a free access and workshops to kids and their adults everyday that the museum is opened. The En Masse piece will be there permanently, giving the project a important presence in the city. Be sure to pass by next time you are visiting Montreal.
À l’été 2012, l’équipe du Musée des Beaux Arts de Montréal a inviter le Projet En Masse à prendre part aux travaux de création de la nouvelle aire éducative. Pendant les 2 plus chaudes semaines de Juillet, 28 artistes se sont alors réunis dans les nouvelles sections du Musée pour entreprendre la création d’une des oeuvres les plus impressionnantes à ce jour, recouvrant murs et plafonds sur 2 étages, une cage d’escalier et un des couloirs d’accès principal. Les nouvelles zones éducatives ont ouvertes leurs portes au public en Septembre 2012, offrant un accès et des ateliers gratuits pour les jeunes et leurs adultes, et ce tout les jour que le musée est ouvert. L’oeuvre d’En Masse y restera de façon permanente, donnant une vitrine importante au projet. Faites certains de passer par le musée la prochaine fois que vous vous retrouvez à Montréal.
streets of Miami, 2012… Good Memories of days spent in the streets finding spots to paint around this crazy city.
Just like in 2011,I headed south for the art week events surrounding the Miami Art Basel. Supported by team of street art veterans, EM spent 14 days in vice city, spreading our black and white magic as much as we could. Thanks to all of you who somehow got involved during this trip and made it one of the best adventures we ever experience with the project on the road. It was a blast see you next year Miami.
Tout comme en 2011, je me suis dirigés vers le sud pour la semaine des arts entourant le Art Basel de Miami. Entouré de vétérans de la scène de la rue, EM a passé 14 jours dans la ville du vice, laissant sa trace noire et blanche un peu partout. Un gros merci à tout ceux et celles qui se sont impliqués d’une façon ou d’une autre dans le projet, vous avez de ce voyage une des plus belles aventures qu’En Masse n’est vécu sur la route. Ce fût magique, on se voit l’an prochain Miami.
Fall 2012 has been a really good one so far. Starting with the Osheaga Festival in August, it’s been a crazy ride that brought me back in the Museum of Fine Arts of Montreal with the En Masse Project, that we followed by a massive installation at HEC Montreal. After that it went from a participation on the set of the sequel of R.E.D, to some Pink and Rihanna collaborations through GeoDezik, a trip in Hamilton for the Supercrawl, getting published in Papirmasse, artshows in Portland, Hamburg and Montreal and a couple of conferences and interviews. To celebrate all that frenzy, I’ve released a limited edition print for Halloween called “Beat It”. Edition of 31 prints, 31 CAD$ each, released on the 31st of October.
It pays homage to Bubbles, beloved MJ’s monkey and each one is hand signed, numbered and embossed. I’ve also painted down a secret “Glow in the Dark” message on each one of them. Dimensions are 20” x26 ” on Cougar Natural Paper 100lb.

In June 2012, Osheaga asked me to curate an outdoor “in the city” art event. After changing spots a couple of time, we settle ourselves on a empty lot right by the side the “Canal Lachine”. For 2 days, Skewville, formerly from Brooklyn, K6A, DHS and La Paria covered the walls of the garage own by the Canadian Parks Department. On the second day, we brought D.J’s and the public was invited to come have a picnic and spend time with the artists while they were finishing their pieces. Here’s a series of pictures from the event. / En Juin 2012, le festival Osheaga m’a demandé d’organiser un événement extérieur promouvant l’art urbain. Après plusieurs changement de location, nous avons finalement trouvé refuge prêt du canal Lachine. Pendant 2 jours Skewville, K6A, DHS et La Paria ont recouvert les murs du garage d’entreposage de Parcs Canada. PAndant la deuxième journèe, nous avons invité des DJ et ouvert les portes aux publics pour une journée de picnic, musique et art urbain. Voici une série de photos de l’événenement
In May 2012, I was asked by Geodesik from Montreal to drew a bunch of graphic elements that would be used for Rihanna’s performance on SNL. I’ve created about a dozen of pages filled with those really rough symbols, mixing Egyptian icons, free mason imagery and hobos symbolism of the early 1930’s. Those drawings have then been animated to serves as Background videos for her performance of ” Talk that Talk”. / En Mai 2012, Geodesik de Montréal, m’a demandé de dessiné une série d’éléments graphiques pour la performance de Rihanna à SNL. J’ai alors créé une douzaine de pages remplis d’esquisse faisant référence aux icônes égyptiens, l’imagerie franc-masson et la symbolique des sans abris des années 1930. Ces dessins ont ensuite servi à l’animation diffusé dans les écrans géantes derrière elle durant sa performance de “talk that talk”.
In October 2011, En Masse has been invited to take part to the very popular Big Bang, among the likes of Wadji Mouawad, Denys Arcand and Pierre Lapointe. Once the show was over in January, the whole room disappeared under the coats of white paint. For a second year, I’ve been asked to part of the team that takes care of the Osheaga Art events. This year, with the help and the talent of Malcolm Sutherland, we’ve created a 30 sec animated film intoducing Oshee & Aga. / Pour une seconde année, on m’a demandé de faire partie de l’équipe Osheaga Art.
